Diego de Velázquez

Diego de Velázquez was and Spanish artist. He was born in Sevilla on 5 of June in 1599. He grew up in the academy in Madrid. He died in Madrid on 6 of August in 1660.
Diego de Velázquez started to paint pictures when he was twelve years old, and in total he painted 42 pictures. He learned to paint at academy.
The most famous pictures are Las Meninas, La Fragua de Vulcano, Los Borrachos, La Rendición de Breda and El triunfo de Baco. He painted pictures which were more beautiful and more artistic than another painters. Diego de Velázquez was the best painter in XVII in Spain.
